Yesterday, RISS began the demolition of Building 371, the final plutonium building at Rocky Flats signaling the final phase of the cleanup and closure of of Rocky Flats. The cleanup is scheduled to be complete in October of this year at which point the site will be handed over to the Department of Fish and Wildlife for the conversion to the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge.
